It is specially designed with an ultra-sharp Japanese stainless steel blade to skim just below the soil surface, cutting weeds off at the roots. 

By using a push motion to cut weeds off just below the soil surface, the Nisaku hoe means it is easier and more efficient than the chopping action of a common garden hoe. Ideal for digging, cultivating, planting and other general gardening.
